Stain

Stain is colour that is applied then absorbed into the wood. You are still able to see the unique characteristics and beautiful grain of each tree species.


There are countless colours to choose from, be it a grey, gold, or green.


As the finish ages the colour will often richen

Paint

Paint, like stain, is colour that can be added to the finishing process. Although the difference is that paint is not absorbed by the wood, rather is a layer that coats the wood.


Paint creates a clean and streamline look to be paired with a prominent wood grain or to stand on its own.

Glaze

Glazing is a specialty finish where an additional coat of product is added to the colour before the protective layer. This can be added to both stained and painted pieces, and comes in various colours.


This adds texture and contrast to the unit while keeping it smooth to the touch. Depending on the type of wood the effect varies.

Rub-Through

Rub-through is a specialty finish that is a multiple step colour process where more them one colour is applied and then worn down to reveal the layers and create an aged look.

Two Tone

Two Tone is where you have a combination of any two colours with any of the finishing selections, paired to create contrast and accent different parts of the finished product.
